NCFCOSA
The OSA committee work tirelessly to raise funds for our academy and
club, and the committee grab every opportunity they can to raise funds,
be it raffles, golden goal and scratch cards in hospitality, to selling
second hand shirts online, to books and programmes in the OSA office.
By joining the OSA as a member this also brings in extra income.
Since we formed in March 2014 we have managed to increase our
donations to buy equipment for our academy and also help our club,
with a new scoreboard over the KOP, a new physio bench and the
renovation of three physio benches.
The OSA committee are always striving to increase donations to our
academy and really appreciate the support our members and
supporters give the OSA. We are always open to fundraising
suggestions.
Between 2014 to 2023 the OSA donated £80,496.13 to the academy and
the football club, this is a massive amount in a short time, we are all so
proud of what we have achieved.
Our first big challenge was to purchase a minibus with the OSA name
on when the old academy minibus had broken down, a year later we
purchased a kit van. To see our name on the minibus and kit van at the
side of NCFC emblem really did mean so much to our committee.
We also pride ourselves on how we supported our staff with donations
when they were not being paid. Our supporters also played a big part in
helping our staff by donating to the bucket collections we did at Ilkeston
foot club.
